Grr. I think this would be stronger without the white halo around the scout ship. The halo makes for a cluttered and somewhat confused look. Since the ship is done white/gray on black, it is unnecessary to outline it in white. (Of course, I'm just speculating, here, not giving advise.) the effect strikes me as odd, here, since you didn't do it anywhere else in the picture.
Otherwise, I like the division of the panel, keeping white dominant and avoiding the mistake of balancing it too evenly with the black.
Love the scenery! (One little thing, though - that foreground rock placed almost dead center could be offset one way or the other to better effect, and brought forward or pushed back. It could even be eliminated, since it does not serve a good purpose. )
